Aluminium Extrusion
Hydralon's Architectural powder coating process was specifically designed to meet BS 6496 "Powder Organic Coating for application and stoving to aluminium alloy extrusion sheet, and preformed sections for external architectural purposes and for the finish of aluminium alloy extrusions, sheet end performed sections coated with powder organic coatings".
Quality control is integral in the powder coating process and covered by Quality Management System.
The combination of Hydralon's trivalent chromate pre-treatment and the use of powder coatings that conform to all the major European architectural finishing standards EN 12206, Qualicoat Class 1 and G.S. B. provide long term corrosion protection with excellent exterior durability and colour retention.
Our powder coating process can handle up to 6.45m in length and we offer a full range of colour and gloss levels from the RAL colour standard and a more limited range from the NCS and BS 4800 standards.
